TEST PLANNING / 02
Starting a generator without meaningful load does not establish how it will perform when equipment needs power. A controlled load allows performance to be assessed under specified conditions.

PLANNED TEST SCOPE
LOAD, DURATION AND ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
Agree the load to be applied, the duration, measurements and acceptance criteria. The procedure should reflect the reason for testing and the installation being assessed.

COMMISSIONING TESTS
Include load testing in the commissioning discussion early so equipment, attendance and handover records can be coordinated.

MAINTENANCE TESTING
Use an agreed load test alongside servicing when the maintenance plan calls for evidence of generator performance.

LPL100 PORTABLE LOAD BANK
For teams needing equipment rather than a testing service, ask for product information on the compact 100 kW LPL100.

GENERATOR TESTING / 01
GENERATOR RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS FOR COMMISSIONING AND MAINTENANCE
Assess generator performance under an agreed electrical load. Lance Power supports load bank testing as part of commissioning and ongoing care, helping project and maintenance teams plan how performance will be checked.
